Jesus tells us what can happen when we allow the worries of this world to distract us from following and glorifying God (Mark 4:19). When we put our faith in wealth and possessions, we end up carrying burdens God never intended. We worry about our stuff, whether we have enough, whether we will ever have enough, and how we can get more. As Romans 1:25 puts it, we end up worshipping and serving created things, rather than the Creator.
The good news is, God also tells us a lot about how to avoid those distractions, moving us from worry to worship! So, get ready to honor and glorify God as you embark on your Financial Discipleship Journey!
